What is Rho Treasury?

Rho Treasury is a cash management solution that lets businesses earn yield on idle cash by investing in U.S. Treasury Bills and mutual funds like Morgan Stanley MULSX.

Clients can set custom rules to automatically move funds between Rho Treasury and Rho Checking, ensuring money is either earning or available for operations.

Investment management and advisory services are provided by RBB Treasury LLC dba Rho Treasury, an SEC-registered investment adviser. Investments are not FDIC-insured and may lose value.

Is my business eligible for Rho Treasury?

Rho Treasury is available to Rho clients with at least $500K in deposits (subject to compliance and custodial requirements). Reach out to your client service rep to learn more.

What yield can I expect with Rho Treasury?

Yields vary based on market rates and your total deposits. You can invest in T-Bills or mutual funds, and see projected net yields in the table above.

How much does Rho Treasury cost? How do you make money?

Rho Treasury charges a transparent management fee. See our ADV brochure for details. Rho earns revenue through advisory services—not by taking spread from your yield.

How fast can I access my funds?

You can typically access funds within 2–3 business days after selling T-Bills or mutual fund shares. Note: Selling before maturity may affect your principal depending on market conditions.

Where are my cash and investments held?

Your funds are held in your company’s name at Rho’s custodial partners: Apex Clearing Corp (post-July 2024) or Interactive Brokers (for earlier accounts).

Is Rho Treasury FDIC-insured?

No. Like all investment products, Rho Treasury is not FDIC-insured. Treasury products carry risk, including potential loss of principal.

Does Rho Treasury integrate with my accounting software?

Yes. Rho Treasury transactions sync automatically with your accounting platform, making reconciliation faster and supporting a smoother month-end close.

Can I automate movement between Treasury and Checking?

Absolutely. You can set custom sweep rules to automatically return funds from Treasury to Rho Checking when needed—like for payroll or vendor payments. No manual transfers required.
