Today, we're bringing the Rho API out of beta: connect once, and your Rho accounts and transactions are available wherever you build.
Why? Work is moving into LLMs and agents. Questions that used to start with opening a dashboard now start with a prompt, and the tools that win show up where the work happens.
Starting today, your Rho data is available directly in Claude, or anything you build with the Rho API. Connect once, read-only, and the answer is just there: current, in the tool you're already using. No exports, no context switching, no rebuilding the same spreadsheet.
Available now for all Rho customers.
Highlights
One read-only access token: balances, account details, and full transaction data across every Rho account. Card, ACH, wire, check, transfers, savings, treasury, rewards.
Direct connection to the ledger. No aggregator in the chain, no refresh windows, no re-auth loops, no schema flattening your data into someone else's model.
Rho works anywhere MCP does. Claude native support is live today, with more platforms coming soon.
Read access is live today. Acting on Rho programmatically is where the platform is headed.
Ask, don't dashboard
What's our balance across accounts? Top expenses last month? AWS spend this year?
Each of those used to be a trip to the dashboard. Now: search "Rho" in the Claude connector browser, connect, ask. Your agent answers with your real numbers, not last month's export.
Or build on it
Settings, then Configurations, then Access Tokens. Create an access token. Start pulling.
That's the whole setup. No aggregator onboarding, no sandbox approval, no feed schedule. The token is read-only and scoped to account and transaction data: it reads everything and touches nothing.
A burn dashboard that's actually current. A Slack bot posting the morning balance. A script flagging transactions over a threshold. A categorizer that tags spend the way your team talks about it.

Agentic from day one
Most financial APIs predate agents; MCP got bolted on. This one shipped with its MCP server in production. Not a roadmap item, the architecture.
Today your agent reads Rho. Next, it acts on Rho: workflows, money movement with your approval, the finance tasks you'd rather delegate. Read ships first because everything else stands on it.
What people are building
Seve Ortale, Wayve Payments built an AI-powered finance dashboard in about five hours: auto-categorization, burn rate/runway tracking, an AI CFO chat, and automated weekly board summaries. He wired his own Genspark-powered AI agent, Goose, directly into Rho's API so every dollar moving through the business feeds the dashboard.
Ishan Sheth, Joinergo built a spend-tracking system entirely through Rho's MCP connection to Claude, breaking down per-person and go-to-market spend to calculate acquisition cost per demo.
Justin Hays automated his company's bookkeeping end to end. He connected Rho's API and QuickBooks to Claude through an MCP server he built, and now a weekly "bookkeeping skill" pulls every transaction, categorizes it, and surfaces anything unfamiliar for review — work that previously took his team and a fractional CFO 3–5 hours a week.

FAQs
Read-only access to accounts (balances, details) and transactions: card, ACH, wire, check, internal transfers, savings, treasury, and rewards activity.
A feed delivers a thin slice of posted transactions to one destination, through an aggregator, on the feed's schedule. The API is a direct connection: full transaction detail across all your Rho accounts, on demand, into any system you choose.
A feed answers "what cleared?" The API answers "what's happening across my Rho accounts?"
Yes. Different tools for different jobs. Ledger sync is the accounting integration (QuickBooks, NetSuite, others). Raw data, or a platform we don't integrate with, is the API. It doesn't affect your existing sync.
Yes. Tokens are read-only and scoped to transaction and account data. They can't initiate payments or modify your account, and you can revoke them anytime in settings.
Account Owners and Admins only.
Acting on Rho, not just reading it: write access, webhooks, more endpoints. If you want your use case supported, tell us. Current coverage: docs.rho.co
