Move Treasury from your Phone

Treasury is now fully available in the mobile app. Transfer In and Transfer Out are both live, alongside a refreshed Treasury view within Banking and improved account selection.

Rho Debit Controls: Your Account, Your Rules

Decide which companies are authorized to debit your checking account. Add approved vendors, and Rho flags anyone else. 

Also shipping this month:

• Downloadable invoice aging report. The invoice export is now a dropdown with two options: the standard export and an industry-standard aging report. Download an invoice aging report for faster month-end reconciliation.

• Export a CSV directly from the Cards tab. Export card data with your active filters applied (card owner, spend limit, last four, department).

• ACH trace IDs in the transaction drawer. ACH trace numbers and wire IMAD/OMAD codes now appear directly in the transaction drawer. Track and reconcile payments without calling support.

• Show your operating address on invoices. Businesses can now display their operating address instead of their registered legal address.

Rho Invoicing: Payment Portal + Recurring Invoices

Every invoice now comes with its own branded payment portal with your logo, your colors, clear instructions to pay. Your customer opens a link, sees exactly what they owe, and pays. When the money lands, it matches automatically.

For customers you bill regularly, set up recurring invoices once — weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual. Invoices send on their own.

Rho Mobile: Card Management, Reimagined

Mobile now supports the full range of card limit types — daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual — in both card creation and card settings.

Plus: physical card shipping status is now visible on the pending card screen, with FedEx tracking links and delivery state labels.

Also shipping this month:

• Text Rho for support. Rho Client Services now supports iMessage and WhatsApp. Message us directly from your phone, no laptop or login required.

• Warning for incomplete expenses. Admins now see a warning when attempting to approve expenses with required fields missing.

• Scheduled payment dates on Approvals screen. See what's going out and when, all in one view. No clicking into individual transactions to check timing.

• "Needs My Approval" tile. Approvers now see a dedicated tile on the Company Expenses page if they have expenses pending review.

• Cancel your own scheduled payments. Users can now reject their own scheduled transactions directly from the Approvals screen.

Rho Close helps founders (and their accountants) save time

We introduced Rho Close, a new platform capability that reviews your chart of accounts, vendor history, and prior coding decisions and suggests how to categorize each transaction with a single click.

Manage Vendor Cards in the Rho mobile app

Admins and eligible team members can now create virtual vendor cards straight from the Rho app. Assign a cardholder, configure limits, and spend settings on the go.

Receipt Notifications, Reimagined [beta]

Receipt notifications now follow your expense policy. If a receipt isn't required, you won't get prompted. When one is required, the channel matches the context.

Also shipping this month:

• Switch limit types on existing cards. Admins and cardholders can now switch between annual, monthly, weekly, daily, or no limit on existing cards without issuing a new one.

• Per-account payment defaults for vendors. Default payment methods are now set at the specific account level, not just the method type. Switch which ACH account is the default without deleting and re-adding it.

• Rho Treasury: redesigned Portfolio tab. Per-asset detail is now visible in a clean layout, with tooltips on every header.

• Retry failed or canceled reimbursements. Users can now retry payment on reimbursements that previously failed or were canceled individually or in bulk. No recreating from scratch.

• Smarter account security. Admins can now require two-factor authentication on every login across the entire team — and individual security settings can be updated with a single toggle, no multi-step modal required.

New Rho Gmail Connector

Connect your Gmail once. Rho pulls in your receipts automatically and matches them to the right transactions — no forwarding rules, no manual uploads.

When a receipt lands in your inbox, it shows up in Rho already matched to the correct transaction. Rho only scans for receipts — nothing else in your inbox is read or stored. Admins can extend the connector across the whole team in one action.

Multi-Asset Treasury Portfolios in Rho Treasury

Rho Treasury now lets you hold T-Bills, MULSX, and VFSTX in the same account — in whatever mix makes sense for your runway.

Rho Invoicing Gets Even Better

Recurring invoices are now live for all beta customers. You can now schedule an invoice to repeat on a regular basis — for example, a recurring software subscription invoiced at the end of each month. We’re excited to roll out one of our most requested features since our initial Invoicing launch.

Also shipping this month:

• Annual, weekly, and daily card limits. Set a card limit that resets on a cadence that matches how you actually spend. The card stays active across cycles, no reissuance needed.

• Team and vendor cards, now on mobile. Admins can now view, manage, and adjust limits for all team and vendor cards from the app.

• Receipt matching, rebuilt. Added merchant identity verification to every match, so a receipt from Uber only ever attaches to an Uber transaction. Better normalization, confidence scoring, and date proximity logic mean more receipts match automatically — and correctly. Cardholders can now flag a bad match directly in the app.

• Invoices auto-marked as paid. When an incoming payment matches the invoice, Rho marks it paid automatically. No manual reconciliation needed.

• QBO Bank Feed expanded. Treasury and Savings accounts now sync into QuickBooks. Card feed descriptions are consistent across the board.

• Open Banking API – FDX v6.4 support. Broader aggregator connectivity and SSO logins to Plaid are now available.

Invoicing is now in Rho [Beta]

You already bank with Rho. Now you can invoice from the same place.

Create a branded invoice in a few clicks. Activate a virtual account number to minimize risk from unauthorized debits. When the payment arrives in your Rho account, it maps to the right invoice without manual reconciliation.

Team and Vendor Cards, Now on Mobile

Managing your team’s cards used to mean opening your laptop. Now you can see your team and vendor cards right from the app. Rolling out to all users this month. 

Mobile Reimbursements Reimagined

A faster way to submit expenses on the go. Snap a receipt, let OCR handle the details, and track approval status every step of the way. Rolling out to all users this month.

• Bill Pay UX improvements. Approving and paying bills is now faster with a cleaner, streamlined workflow. You can now know whether you need to add vendor payment details or move straight to approval.

• Simultaneous card & user provisioning. Admins can now provision a card during user setup with a single additional click.

• Edit reimbursements. Submitted a reimbursement with the wrong amount? You can now edit it before it’s processed.

• Attach documents to printed checks. Need to include an invoice or tax form with a mailed check? You can now attach PDFs to printed check mailings. 

• Interactive card spending graph. Click any bar on the card spending graph and the transaction table filters to show exactly what’s behind that number.

• Redesigned accounting mapping rules. The mapping rules tab is now organized into collapsible sections, making it faster to find, edit, and create rules at a glance.

• Card Limit Proactive Notifications. Rho sends you a notification before you approach your card limit so you can keep spending uninterrupted.

• Bank Letter in Settings. Clients can now download Rho bank letters directly from Settings in the platform 

Rho now integrates directly with Puzzle

Great news for our Puzzle clients! Rho now connects directly to Puzzle. With this integration, your transactions, bills, and attachments will now sync automatically.
