Introducing Rho Invoicing

Introducing Rho Invoicing: Send Invoices and Get Paid Where You Bank

Send invoices and get paid where you bank.

Money out was covered. Now money in is too.

Highlights

  • Invoice where you bank. Create and send branded invoices from the same platform your cash lands in.

  • Automatic matching. Incoming payments reconcile to the right invoice on their own.

  • A payment portal on every invoice. Customers see what they owe and how to pay — no Rho account required.

  • No extra cost. Included for all Rho customers.

Rho helps founders control every dollar going out: corporate cards, expense management, bill pay. But until now, the money coming in lived somewhere else — a standalone invoicing tool, an accounting add-on, or a PDF attached to an email and a prayer.

That gap matters more than it looks. Roughly $3 trillion is owed to U.S. businesses in outstanding receivables at any given moment, and 87% of businesses say their invoices typically get paid after the due date. For an early-stage company, that's not an accounting nuisance. That's runway.

That's why we built Rho Invoicing: create professional invoices, send them to customers, and get paid directly into your Rho account — with every incoming payment matched to the right invoice automatically. It's included for all Rho customers at no extra cost.

Why invoicing belongs in your bank account

Most invoicing tools stop at “sent.” The invoice goes out, and then you're back in your bank account playing detective: did that $12,000 deposit come from the customer who owed $12,000, or two customers who owed $6,000?

Because Rho Invoicing lives where your money actually lands, that loop closes itself:

  • You invoice from the same platform your cash arrives in. No exporting, no syncing, no second login.

  • Payments match themselves. When a customer pays, Rho automatically matches the incoming payment to the open invoice — no manual reconciliation. Anything that needs a human eye, you can match in a click.

  • You always know who's paid and who hasn't. Simple invoice statuses and an activity log — no decoding a dashboard built for accountants.

What you can do with Rho Invoicing

Create a branded invoice in minutes

Add your customer, line items, payment terms, and the Rho checking account the money should land in. Invoices support up to 100 line items, sales tax with per-line-item adjustments, and notes for your customer. Upload your logo and Rho pulls your brand color from it automatically — or set your own. Invoice under your legal name or your DBA. The template is fully white-labeled: your customer sees your business, not Rho.

Give every customer a clear way to pay

Every invoice comes with its own payment portal. Your customer opens a link and sees who the invoice is from, what they owe, and when it's due, with clear instructions to pay by ACH or domestic wire (or by check). No Rho account required. They can download the full invoice with line items right from the portal, and once the invoice is paid, the portal updates on its own.

Your bank details stay protected, too: every invoice uses a virtual account number, so your actual account information is never exposed.

Put repeat billing on autopilot

If you bill the same customers on a regular cadence, set the schedule once and recurring invoices send automatically. One-off repeat work? Duplicate a past invoice and update the details.

Keep the right people in the loop

Invoices go out by email, and you can cc additional contacts — useful when your buyer's AP team or an outside bookkeeper needs a copy. As you type, Rho autofills from your customer list.

Skip the reconciliation spreadsheet

When payment lands in your Rho account, it matches to the right invoice automatically. Track every invoice from sent to paid, cancel unpaid invoices when plans change, and manage your customer list with notes for things like tax-exempt status. Invoice permissions control who on your team can send and manage invoices.

Report on it, and hand it to your bookkeeper

See incoming cash with simple inflow reporting, filter invoice history by month, and download invoices as PDFs for your accountant.
