How to connect Rho to Rillet

Rillet is an AI-native accounting platform. Connecting Rillet to Rho creates a bank feed that automatically sends your Rho transactions to Rillet. This helps you reconcile without manually exporting or uploading CSV files.

Note: This is a one-way bank feed, not a two-way accounting integration. Rho sends transaction data to Rillet but does not read or update categories, vendors, or general ledger coding in Rillet.

What syncs over

The Rillet bank feed supports:

  • Checking accounts

  • Savings accounts

  • Card accounts

  • Treasury accounts

Rho automatically syncs transactions once per day. You can also trigger an on-demand sync at any time. Each sync includes the previous 30 days of transaction activity. If a transaction changes after it first syncs, Rillet will receive the updated information as long as the transaction is within that 30-day window.

To connect Rho to Rillet, you need:

  • Admin access to your Rillet organization

  • Access to Integrations in Rho

  • A Rillet API key with write access

Generate an API key in Rillet

  1. Log in to Rillet.

  2. In the bottom-left corner, select your company name.

  3. Select Organization settings.

  4. Under Organization, select API Access.

  5. Select + Create API key.

  6. Enter a name for the API key.

  7. Leave Read-only unchecked. Rho needs write access to create the bank feed.

  8. Select + Create API Key.

  9. Copy the API key and store it securely, such as in a password manager.

Note: Rillet displays the full API key only once, immediately after it is created. If you lose the key, you will need to create a new one.

Connect Rillet to Rho

  1. Log in to Rho.

  2. Select Integrations from the navigation bar.

  3. Under Accounting integrations, find Rillet and select Connect.

  4. Enter your API key in the Rillet API key field.

  5. Select Verify API key.

  6. Under Accounting mappings, choose:

    • The Rho account type

    • The specific Rho account

    • The Rillet GL account that should receive the transactions

  7. To connect another Rho account, select Add account mapping and repeat the mapping process.

  8. Under Rillet feed settings, choose:

    • The Subsidiary associated with the feed

    • The Feed start date

  9. Select Create bank feeds.

Once the connection is complete, Rillet will appear under Connected on the Integrations page.

Sync your transactions

Rho automatically sends transactions to Rillet once per day.

To sync the latest activity immediately:

  1. Go to Integrations > Accounting integrations.

  2. Find Rillet under Connected.

  3. Select Push.

The Rillet integration card displays the date and time of the last successful push so you can confirm when the feed was last updated.

Manage or disconnect Rillet

Go to Administration > Integrations and find Rillet under Connected. From the Rillet integration card, you can:

  • Select Manage to review or update your account mappings, subsidiary, or feed start date.

  • Select Push to trigger an on-demand sync.

  • Select Disconnect to remove the connection between Rho and Rillet.

Good to know

  • Rho sends data to Rillet but does not read or update information in your Rillet books.

  • Each Rho account can be mapped to its corresponding Rillet GL account.

  • You can connect multiple Rho accounts during the same setup.

  • Rho verifies your Rillet API key before you create the bank feeds.

  • Daily and on-demand syncs both include the previous 30 days of transaction activity.
