INR Purpose Code Restrictions

When you send payment in the INR currency, youll need to choose the purpose of your payment. You'll be able to select the desired Purpose Code while setting up your transfer. Please view the below list for the supported Purpose Codes.
Allowed Purpose Codes
| Purpose Code | Purpose Code Description |
| Travel expenses | Payments to travel agents, hotels or airlines |
| Loan repayment | Payments to repay a loan |
| Pay for services | Payment against export of services including software |
| Pay for goods | Payment against export of goods |
| Other business expenses | Payment for other business use cases such as trade transfers, education institutions, etc. |
| Pay to employees | Payments for employee compensation |
Please note that the limit for sending to businesses in India is 1.5 million INR per invoice daily.
Unsupported Purposes Codes
We don't support transfer purposes for:
Payments to charities
Payments for trade transfers exceeding 1.5M INR
Foreign direct investments
