Rho offers read-only API access, and the setup process depends on what you're building.
Use the option below that best fits your use case:
Intention | Path |
Building an internal tool for your own business | Create an API access token |
Building a product that connects to your customers' Rho accounts | Register as an OAuth partner |
Authorizing a third-party vendor's integration | Contact the Rho API team |
Build an integration for your own business
If you're building an internal dashboard, data warehouse sync, automation, or AI integration, you can get started by creating an API access token.
To create a token:
Navigate to Settings → API → Access Tokens.
Create a new access token.
Choose the appropriate permissions and complete two-factor authentication.
For implementation details, see our guides on getting started, authentication, MCP, and API reference.
Build a product that connects to customer Rho accounts
If you're building an application that lets customers connect their Rho accounts, you'll need to register as an OAuth partner. Only Account Owners and Administrators can authorize an OAuth connection for their business.
Email api-partner-request@rho.co with your application details. After your request is reviewed, you'll receive your OAuth credentials and can complete your integration using our developer guides.
Authorize a third-party integration
If a vendor has asked you to authorize their application with Rho, forward their request to api-partner-request@rho.co.
Our team will review the request and work directly with the vendor. You don't need to share your Rho credentials or complete any technical setup.
For more information on what the integration can access, reference our detailed guides.
